Tyra has called Colorado Springs home since 1986. She was raised in Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University in 1980. Her love for Colorado Springs and all that it has to offer has kept her here! She and her husband, Gene, have 4 children born and raised in Colorado Springs! They are happy and proud to say they are now all successful young adults and exploring life’s opportunities.
Tyra’s love for this community and her knowledge of Colorado Springs is what inspired her to be a real estate agent. “Having lived here since 1986, I have seen so many changes. My longevity is essential when helping a buyer or seller understand our market. Helping individuals and families navigate through the stresses of buying or selling a home is my passion. It can be a very daunting experience for most! Tyra’s appreciation for Colorado Springs has also led her to give back to this community. She has volunteered for numerous non-profit organizations including the National Alliance for Mental Illness, New Born Hope, Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, Fine Art Center, Early Childhood Connections, Children’s Literacy Center, Habitat for Humanity, District 12 PTO Board, & Junior League.
