Michael has been a residential REALTOR since 1982 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has been with ERA Shields Real Estate as a top-producing agent since 1986, is the Branch Broker for the North main office. He believes in giving back to his Associations and profession and has served as a Director and President / Chairman of the Board of the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS, and numerous positions such as a Director, Vice-President, State Treasurer and was President of the Colorado Association of REALTORS in 2006. He was an Officer for the National Association of REALTORS in 2016 as Vice President and a member of the Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. A graduate from NARs Leadership Academy. He holds the CIPS, CRS, CSP, e-PRO, GREEN and GRI designations, and is C2EX NAR Endorsed. He was recognized by the Colorado Springs Business Journal as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in Colorado Springs Real Estate and by Broker Associate Magazine as Broker of the Month. In 2007, Michael was honored as REALTOR of the Year for PPAR and in 2009 he was chosen and recognized as REALTOR of the Year for the Colorado Association of REALTORS, the most prestigeous award given by the State Association. He has represented numerous production and custom builders as a Marketing Director and is an expert in New Construction. Married to wife Laurie for 30+ years, Michael and Laurie have sponsored cadets for the US Air Force Academy. Their passion is following and attending Formula 1 racing events all over the world.
