SentriLock Lockbox The Pikes Peak Multiple Listing Service (PPMLS) takes the safety and security of homeowners very seriously. Our goal in offering an electronic lockbox system is to provide a level of peace of mind to homeowners knowing that the system used to access their home is utilizing the latest technology in security and trackability.

One product in the SentriLock ecosystem that showcase that level of care and verification is SentriConnect®.

What is SentriConnect® access?

SentriConnect® is a secure mobile app that can be used to gain time-limited access to a PPMLS SentriLock lockbox.

How restrictive can SentriConnect® access be?

SentriConnect® access can be granted for as little as 30 minutes or as long as 2 weeks. It can be granted for any window of time up to two weeks out. This can be useful for contractors that may be in and out of the home over a longer period, as opposed to a one-time showing.

Who provides SentriConnect® access?

SentriConnect® access is granted by, and at the sole discretion of, the listing agent, listing office, or lockbox owner, in conjunction with the seller’s prior authorization and instructions. Neither PPMLS nor any of its third-party vendors will, under any circumstance, grant a SentriConnect® access to anyone.

Who is SentriConnect® access for?

SentriConnect® may be used by any Non-PPMLS Subscriber that has a legitimate need to access a property. Examples include but are not limited to; an out-of-area REALTOR® or licensee, an inspector, a locked-out homeowner, or a contractor.

What is the benefit of SentriConnect® over a Day Code or Combo Lockbox?

SentriConnect® requires a verified account profile for each user. This profile information provides pertinent identification data for every person accessing the SentriLock Lockbox. Unlike Day Codes or Combo Lockboxes, SentriConnect® will track down to the minute, when, and by whom, the lockbox was accessed; and because the access is granted for a specific window of time to a specific lockbox, it also ensures that the box cannot be accessed outside the designated time or by unauthorized individuals. Day Codes and Combo Lockboxes cannot come close to offering this level of safety, trackability, and security.

For this reason, SentriConnect® access is the ONLY SentriLock Lockbox access that PPMLS makes available for Non-PPMLS Subscribers.

How do PPMLS Subscribers access SentriLock Lockboxes?

PPMLS Subscribers that need to access PPMLS SentriLock Lockboxes will have their own SentriKey Real Estate subscription, which allows them to access lockboxes under the parameters of the showing instructions set forth by the seller’s instructions, listing agent and in adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, without the need to request access for each pre-established showing or appraisal appointment.

PPMLS is also proud to work with the following neighboring REALTOR® Associations and MLS to provide SentriLock reciprocity access to its PPMLS SentriLock Lockboxes:
